"Not many people would be peaceful to be lowered down a good to redeem a remains though FBI Agent Megan McKenna, an FBI behavioral scientist, volunteers. The physique is that of a immature womanlike victim, a third in as many weeks. A suspected sequence torpedo is what brought Meg to Baltimore to work with a Baltimore Police Department and privately Detective Phil Jenkins. This is Meg's initial assignment after a leave of deficiency brought about by Meg's disaster to save a child from a torpedo such as Baltimore PD now faces. Max is a Labrador retriever and shares Megan's home. Max is a late FBI hunt and rescue dog and plays a large partial in this novel. Although Meg and Phil did not strike it off during initial they are commencement to get into a pitch of operative together. When Phil calls her in to let her know he has found a couple between a victims. At slightest dual of a victims were encourage children and both from a same agency. As a dual start their investigation, they feel that there is something off about a encourage home. The place is too still and no children are visible. The relatives of a victims have all changed out of state. There is some-more than one poser contained between a pages of The Well Meaning Killer and adequate movement to keep a reader quickly branch pages. Are a encourage home and a sequence torpedo in some approach connected? Will a torpedo be brought to justice? This examination has usually overwhelmed on a characters we will accommodate in this book. we consider we will like Meg and wish to review some-more about her. Max is a dog that anyone would be propitious to own. Be certain to collect adult this first, in what we wish to be a new series, starring Megan McKenna." -- Patricia Reid, BOOK-VIEWS.COM

"Miranda Walker presents readers with a gutsy new impression in a universe of military procedurals. Plagued by a past roughly as horrible as a box she's investigating, FBI Agent Megan McKenna exhibits a integrity of a bulldog in both her veteran and private lives. This opening storm in Walker's new array is a certain gamble for readers who adore clever delicate characters." --Mary Welk, author of TO KILL A KING, and A MERRY LITTLE MURDER

4Wonder Woman

By Ted Feit

This novel, by a first-time novelist, is full with all a required elements of a good murder-mystery; an engaging plot, well-drawn characters and good essay and suspense. The usually genuine question, however, is a protagonist's ability to arise from a dead, so to speak, not once, though twice, and continue to pursue a unsound killer.

I had one problem with a book as to a realism of some of a action. Any specifics competence good consecrate a spoiler, so sufficient it to contend that one sanatorium stage in sold seemed improbable to this reader, call a doubt of either such a unfolding was even possible. Given a fact that a author is an ER nurse, we have to accept her description, despite with a doubtful eye.

Otherwise, for an initial effort, a book is unequivocally praiseworthy. The protagonist, Megan McKenna, an FBI agent, is appealing, as are other characters. Since this is a entrance novel, references to prior practice can be confusing, though usually a teenager annoyance. Recommended.

4Engaging and Interesting Mystery

By T. L. Cooper

Miranda Phillips Walker introduces FBI Agent Megan McKenna in The Well Meaning Killer. Walker draws a together between McKenna's credentials and a sequence killer's credentials that is scary while still portraying that people with identical backgrounds can have really opposite responses to those events. As McKenna hunts a sequence torpedo who puts his victims in wells, her physical, emotional, and mental strength are challenged. Her tough extraneous hides her vulnerability. Walker delves into a killer's essence including what combined a beast he has become. Walker interweaves a adore story that borders on apropos a adore triangle into a storyline that leaves a reader uncertain where their loyalties lie. She creates characters that a reader wants to know improved and characters that will make a reader flounder while reading. There are moments when a reader will be ripped between feeling magnetism for a abused small child and wishing for a genocide of a beast he becomes. Though during moments a reader will feel undone by a decisions of a characters concerned and might doubt a actions of those characters, Walker keeps a reader intent and yearning for probity to be served. The Well Meaning Killer entertains while delving into a cruelty and fervour that expostulate people to rapist activity while exposing a vulnerabilities of their victims. Walker creates a impression in McKenna that creates readers concerned for a subsequent book.
